I'm a PhD student in genetics, and I was wrestling with a common challenge in rare disease research.

I'm confused. How can I find studies that combine CRISPR screens with RNA sequencing data (bulk or single cell) and extract key information like cell line, genetic manipulation type, and RNAseq technology used?

I remember digging through papers for ages for a similar project, trying to connect CRISPR results with expression data. Your optimal choice is probably hitting PubMed or GEO hard with combo keywords. Then, it is often careful reading that pulls out those details you need.

Yeah, I feel you. Been there. Try mining GEO or SRA with smart filters or check out papers in Cell or Nature Biotech related to CRISPR / RNAseq. Just patience is the key! And yes, like @Monstro Elisasue said, PubMed.

An approach is to search NCBI GEO or SRA with keywords like "CRISPR screen" and "RNA-seq" or "single cell RNA seq." and filter by organism or disease area if needed. Once you've got some hits, check the supplemental data and methods sections for info on cell lines
